Spots getting worse before shed?

In took her to a exotic vet last week. She had little spots here and there on her spine. He wasn't too concerned. Now there all over her spine. I called vet today he said it's not a concern yet. There something in my gut says this isn't right

He said i can bring her back but it's going to be a waste of money. Shes starting to shed but all these marks appeared over the course of a few weeks. All my temps and humidity is good. Aspen substrate. Everything good so im clueless

Almost looks like if she had squeezed under or through something. If she's getting ready to shed I don't think waiting a couple days to see how it is after will hurt.

Idk what she could have squeezed under. I took everything out and filed the edges of everything

If you can, upload some pictures of her enclosure. It's easier to see if there's anything wrong with that and someone might notice something that is escaping you.

If you feel like the vet might not be giving this issue the proper attention, consider getting a second opinion.

What's your husbandry like? (temps, humidity, substrate, and so on) How do you clean the enclosure and how often? When you handle her / take her out of the enclosure, where do you take her? (ex.: just a couple mins on your lap/hands, free roaming the room, etc.)


And please keep this in mind, whenever asking health related issues, you might (and probably will) get answers from the experienced keepers/breeders but also from new or fairly new keepers, they're all trying to help but sometimes it just takes one misinformation, to wrongly advise someone and for you to start treating a non-issue (or to wrongly treat it) while you may be aggravating the real problem the snake has.
Above all remember, we can help detect the common issues this snakes have but no one here is a vet (even if someone here is a vet, here they are just another member of the forum), so when in doubt please visit a proper reptiles vet.

I can't get a pic this moment. Shes on aspen bedding with 2 hides ones wood and ones like a ceremic. I just made her a humidity box from a tupperwear bowl. No sharp edges. Humidity is 40 to 60% inside hide is higher then in tank. Ground is dry. Big water bowl and some leaves and a piece of wood. Temp is 85 to 90 in hot. 76ish in cool middle is low 80s.

Well i was told by the only vet around that sees snakes that to wait till the shed then if they are still there bring her back

If she's due to shed in the next couple of days, I would take the vet advice and wait until she sheds.

Since she only seems to have those bruises on her spine area, I'm inclined to believe those are some kind of scrapes, maybe she was rubbing herself too hard against a rough surface or trying to fit in place a bit too small for her.
