TELL ME ABOUT YOUR BPs WEIRD HABITS!

I just wanted to start this thread to see if my ball python is actually an odd ball

I'm new to ball pythons, and snakes in general. Jumbi is my first ever snake. He's got quite a personality on him. After having him for a week and having observed his behavior all night, I've gotten a feel for his routine in his enclosure.

One of his weird habits is making sure I'm not in the room before he moves from one hide to the other. I've caught him several times peeking outside his log and looking for me to see if I'm watching him. I left the room, but was peeking through the door, and as soon as he couldn't find my heat signature, he quickly moved to his warm hide. Silly snek thought he was being slick. Hahaha. There were also instances when I would look into his cold hide one second, walk out of the room, and he vanishes. I think he's playing mind games with me

Another thing he does is have a routine route each night that he'll go through about 5 times before settling into his hide. He'll peak out of his half-log, roam through the plants, surf on the right side of the enclosure, then crawl through the back of the half log. Not even a minute later and he's already peaking his head out again and going through the same routine!

This is him the 4th time around with his route.

I'm really interested to know what you guys' ball pythons do! Perhaps all ball pythons do this and I just have no idea But it's still entertaining to look at!

Chimera, my phantom Bp for some reason loves to climb onto my headphones and wrestle them while I am wearing them, after she is satisfied she sits on top of them and chills.
