    Ball python help??

So recently i bought a 2 foot ball python. He was completely fine. The day i decided to feed him I bought a small frozen rat from petco and he ate it with no problem. And i made sure that it was no bigger than the thickest part of his body. A few days later he poops and I see what appears to be undigested rat tail and foot or something. He coiled normally for the following week and was perfectly fine. I just know that he poops a lot. Today was the weird day, i attempted to feed gim yesterday and he didnt eat. I left the same size prey item in his cage so maybe he can eat overnight. I remove it in the morning and when i got back home i notice his left lip is slightly swollen. I moved his lip up to check for any mouth rot signs (pus and stuff) and nothing. Then i see a mite in his heat pit and i carefully remove it and kill it. I put him in a spare tank with an undertank heater and a water bowl and paper towels to relax there a little bit and i notice he pooped a runny poop with what appeared to be blood and runny urate. Whats going on? Is it mites? Was it the rat? He was perfectly fine even yesterday. He "fixed" the lip shortly after i removed the mite. I believe he may have been rubbing his face to get rid of the mite

I would say photos would be helpful but a vet visit for a fecal would be better.
