So I've had a boa for about two or so months and I have to say it is awesome owning these snakes. He seems to be very inquisitive about what's going on around him and definitely shows some interest in his surrounding environment.
I am running into an issue, though. I was originally using newspaper, but everyday he'd mess it up somehow when I got home from work. I decided to use newspaper and put aspen on top, but he's still doing the same thing....everyday. Is this something I should just accept, or is there a more heavier substrate that wouldn't allow him to mess up everything? He's definitely not stressed or anything, he's just chillin most of the time, just his body mass must be shifting whatever is underneath him. Thanks.
