    Introduction

    Hopefully these images come through....

I should have made this introduction my first post...
So, here is Persephone. She's my 4 month old baby, the first snake I've had since high school... The most beautiful, sweet, and curious snake I've ever had. When I bought her,I was told she is a red tail b.c.c. It didn't matter to me either way. We connected. I AM curious though... What do you guys think? I know some of you have many of these and are experts... So I'm curious to see if you think she is a b.c.c. Or a b.c.i...

Your little gal appears to be a BCI. She's absolutely beautiful! She doesn't look like a normal, but boa morphs are not my strong suit. Congratulations on your little sweetheart, and keep us updated!

Some reason I can't view the photos, mind uploading them to imgur?

    And Welcome!

That is a BI. The "constrictor" part of the name has been dropped. They are either Boa Imperator or Boa Constrictor now. Clean looking BI. Oh and welcome.

Thank you, I adore her. When I went to look at the boas they had she reached as far as she could towards me, and as soon as I reached to her she wrapped around my arm and was completely at home, so I knew she was mine <3

    Thank you
What is a morph? Like a half-breed? If so that would be just awesome since I'm one too =)

    Re: Introduction

A morph is a color or pattern mutation brought out through selective breeding. Hypo, short for hypomelanistic, is a reduction in black. There are a ton of morphs out there, its absolutely mind boggling! Regardless of her genetics, she's a pretty little thing, and she sounds like a sweetie too
