I just saw this video, like many of you, which went viral recently.

I am very intrigued, and would like you guys to shed some light on the matter.

If anyone has facts as to why this works or actually doesn't with every snake.

Maybe do some experiments, slow motion tests, etc.

Could be a good safety method.

I'm excited for potential videos. When my snakes come out of shed I may try this out. I assume it's because there is low friction so the snake can't grip onto anything. Id assume if it tries one of the other types of motion that is less side to side and more forward it would move alright

Cute video but I can't help but feel like that snake must be stressed. I've only ever seen the balls move that fast when there is food or danger around. Kinda looks like panicy movement to me.

Unless it thinks it's swimming. Lol
