Well, he is a young adult now. All the questions, research and observations I've made over the years have guided me along in caring for this guy. I'm no breeder and certainly no expert but I feel I've got a very healthy snake here that should live another 30 years if I continue to do things the right way.
He's a bit over 6 feet long and around 10 - 11 pounds. I'm guessing he may grow a little more this summer as it's been a hot one. I think he has reached "stud status" and he certainly isn't undersized or oversized for that matter. I wanted him 6-7' and he's right there.
Please enjoy these pictures. Apparently my Photobucket is full even though I deleted several pictures from the past. Interesting that didn't free up space.
Anyhow, back to the birthday boy. RIO BRAVO REPTILES' Sniper by way of Orlando and Joel at LEGACY REPTILES.
I-Phone 6 shots. Unfortunately he's eaten since his last shed and he is a bit dark in these. I think it's a nice twist on "fresh shed" pics.
It's been a while since we've hit the rocks.
It is hard to believe his color in the direct sun in the grass. I didn't adjust anything is this photo. Some of the others I dropped the exposure in edit mode. This is just his "sunny, grass" coloring.
He was not really happy to do this shoot, and I think he has to pass some waste. We got it done though.
Now enjoy the day in your hide big fella!
