So here's the deal, I'm having trouble keeping the humidity levels in my tank proper, it's an open cage top so everything just escapes, I can't afford a new tank at the moment and I'm sick of misting 10 times a day, I'm using fir substrate with a small heat cable under her hide, and a heat lamp above that(warm side) with her water bowl on the cold side, the heat levels are perfect and I have no problems with that, but if I don't mist her tank every couple of hours, the humidity drops to about 30, I tried laying a damp towel over the top but this brings the humidity up in the 70s and quickly dries up over night, I thought maybe plastic wrap might work ( with ventilation obviously) but wanted some advice before I go all mcguyver on the terrarium. Any suggestions?
