Hi, I am running out of room. I am going to add new racks and have ones available to me with longer, narrower tubs. This will allow me to have more tubs per "wall space" in the room, as depth isn't the issue.
I am going to keep mostly the males in there if I get it, freeing up my current racks for females, but just in case I want to know if they are too narrow for egg laying. They are only 20cm wide x 80cm long. My current racks are 40 x 55cm.
I see that back many years ago people used nest boxes for ball pythons, which we now know is not necessary. But if they can lay in small egg boxes, they should be ok in the narrow tubs, right? Should I buy it and try?
Here are examples of the nest boxes I found online? Doesn't mention if they are 20cm wide or more, but looks quite small.
