    Expecting eggs

This female has been off feed since March after locking with one of our males. I think that I may have missed her ovulation because this is my first go at this and I was not sure what I was looking for. Her last shed was 31 days ago and I was hoping to find eggs either yesterday or today. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about where she is at in the process.

    Thanks

    Re: Expecting eggs

Her bottom half does look large, but not bigger than her top half. If she was a few days from laying, you would see a large bulge close to her tail, like she's about to drop a big one. Has she been layhing perfectly coiled ? And been a little active the past couple days?

    Re: Expecting eggs

I woke up this morning and found her like this...

8 big beautiful eggs!!! I was not expecting that many since it was her first time laying. We are so excited and can't wait for the babies.

Awesome!! Congrats! I was going to say with a ridged back like that she couldn't be far away! Now the wait begins!

They are already in there. Is it safe to take them out or should I just leave them?
