    Number system in signatures?

I just don't get it. Can someone please explain the number people are using when they list their snakes. 1.0, 0.1, etc. I know it has to be simple, amd I am overthinking it.

1.0 is one male. 0.1 is one female. When 1.1 it's one male and one female

And a third digit (0.0.1) is unsexed, as in, they don't know yet what sex they are
