    Tile Substrate?

So I was thinking about getting a ball, and I was curious about a possible substrate. I currently use ceramic tile for my 6 year old bearded dragon, and its worked great. However, obviously they are very different creatures, and the reasons why it works well with the beardies may not be great with balls, mainly due to humidity not holding well. Anyone have experience with this? If so, please, do tell me how it went

I also use tile for beardies and it's real easy to clean lol but personally I would never put a bp on it. I also use ceramic tile for 2 of my Leo's that are in aquariums. I use uth and it heats up well but can cool off just as fast and takes a little bit to get back to temp also thermostat probes have to be inside on the tile floor bc of the rapid cooling. Like you said humidity issues would definitely be an issue.

Alright, thanks. I'll probably just stick to the particle substrates then, like cypress mulch, or perhaps coco fiber. Haven't decided yet

Can't see there being a problem using tiles. Alot of people put tiles over their heat mats.
As long as everythings set up correctly then should be fine
