Problem feeder eating finally
After almost 3 months of my young snake not eating, it's finally going well.
I ended up taking her to the vet who tube fed her a bit. They suggested force feeding her small bits of food to get her system going and see what happens. I was highly against the idea, but they showed me how to do it and I had a vet's blessing.
I ended up giving her a pinky mouse (which was a little more difficult than they made it look). She wasnt too happy about it, but she ate it.
A few days later, I went to give her another one. She wanted no parts of it at first, but after a couple of minutes, I picked her up to go through the process, and she ended up snatching the pinky. Partial Success!
A few more days went by, I tangled a pinky mouse in the tub again, she immediately struck at it, knocked it off the tongs and sent it flying out of the tub. Complete success!
Now every time she sees me, she gets into position for food x.x Maybe later on this week i'll give her a rat fuzzy (her proper food), putting her on a 5 day schedule until she gets some weight on her.
Im sure people here are highly against forcing, and I wouldn't suggest doing it without first visiting the vet. But it was done safely and it got my girl eating finally.

I'm glad it worked! I would try to go up to the proper size prey next feeding to get weight on her and see how it goes. How much does she weigh?

I got her at 120, she got down to 100, and as of 2 days ago, she is at 108 now. Breeder said she hatched in october 2015 but im pretty sure it was december or jan at the earliest.

Why do you say December or January? Bc of her size? If so size is not an indication of age of a bp. I have a toffino enchi that Im getting at the end of june that was born on 10/26/15 and the breeder weighed her last month and she was 123g, Fairly close to the size of yours.

It's not so much length of time depending on age but more about if there is rapid weight loss, if there is then there's more likely a health issue. Bps can go months without eating. First thing you should check is husbandry such as temps, humidity, security, tub/tank size, etc and if all that is good then it could just be a fast. Like I said rapid weight loss is when you should start worrying.

They can go many weeks without eating, ive heard of up to or a bit over a year. My issue was that the snake was already small when I got her, and she lost more than 10% of her body weight over the course of 2 and a half months. I felt it was time to take her to the vet, and the vet even said she could cut bread with her spine.... the vet was kind of a jerk.
