Re: Can someone help me out?
If the snake really is 2 to 3 years old it should weigh between 800 to 1000 grams.
If you're feeding mice try and switch to rats yesterday, If he won't eat rats then I'd offer him 2 to 3 adult mice at a time every 5 days for the next month. After he's gained a couple of hundred grams then feed him once a week.
If you have more questions feel free to call me anytime at 408-981-6694 or you can email me at fgsnakes@sbcglobal.net
Good luck.

He'll eat rats, I've fed him a small rat before. Just that I ran out of rats(I breed my own rats) and the petstore stopped sellings live rats(he'll eat f/t but that's expensive here and right now waiting till i get paid to get more)
Thanks!

is that your rescued Lemon Blast? regardless of age, he looks to have a healthy shape to him. i would rather have a older, but smaller healthy round BP rather than an older, long and scrawny one.
just keep feeding him on a steady schedule and he will grow. i have a 3yr old male that was about 350grams when i got him. the breeder kept him on a maintenance feed schedule and since i've had him for a few short months, he's doubled in size.

Yes, it is my rescued lemon blast, i technically didn't have a choice since one BP was so bad off and the other one hasn't far behind..
I may(when i get my next liter of rats) feed him a couple times every five days if he'll eat it that fast. Thank you and good job on your 3 year old male!
