Need Help!
hey guys, so i went into my snake room to clean today and found a clutch of eggs under my female burm. I was not expecting her to go for me this time since i didnt see the signes of her being gravid, i also didnt witness any locks, she even ate for me a week ago... but the problem is that i dont have an incubator on hand and i dont get paid till thursday im freaking out and dont know what to do, should i let her incubate them maternally? what should i do??? this is the first clutch i ever got so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I would Leave her incubate the eggs for the time being. Get the humidity up and then get and incubator set up as soon as you can.
Snakes have been incubating their own eggs for a long time so everything should be fine.
Good Luck.

Where are you? Maybe someone local has incubator space.
In the meantime just leave them with Mom and make sure she stays plenty humid but not sopping wet.

Im going to build one out of a cooler this thursday, i left them in with the mother and did a misting of warm water. Im back in SC again. One of my friends that breeds burms said the eggs should be fine till i get that incubator set up,

Responsibilities
ok I hate to be "that guy" but I cant ignore this. If you are attempting to breed you need to have all necessary equipment at hand. Not just throw 2 animals together then wait to see what happens before being prepared. This means having a plan at the minimum. Theres nothing wrong with maternal incubation but you have to be prepared for that. A humid hide/laybox, a way to boost ambient temps etc. You have to be responsible for the well being of these animals! Did you look into how you will take care of however many babies hatch? or how you will send them to new homes? This is a lacy act animal you cant just put an ad up online and ship them off all over the country. Granted you didnt think she would go this year but you still have to be prepared. You paired the animal just because you didnt witness any copulations doesnt mean it didnt happen. I hope you will take some of this into consideration before doing it again instead of just getting annoyed at my post.

I know i should have had one on hand it was just bad timing for us, we had some personal issues here and put us behind financially unexpectedly. I was supposed to of already had one by now. Yes i know they are on the lacey act and before i even paired them i posted on a local group on fb and on CL and asked if anyone in my state would be interested in buying a baby if i produce some. Over 20 people said they want one and still do. Im also building a hatchling rack this weekend, already got supplies for it.
