    Het Clown Markers?

I have a het clown pair, the make is pastel het clown, and the female is just get clown. My male has the black stripe under his vent, which I've heard is a marker. The female has two or three subcaudal scales with the black markings. However, the female also has a few tear drops on her side pattern. Is this also a marker?
Sorry, not sure how to add pics

I have see het clown show in some morphs but as far as I know there are no markers for them.
Also markers in recessive morphs still don't guarantee anything.

    Re: Het Clown Markers?

Thank you for that. I know there is nothing surefire to identify a het, I was just curious. I am certain my pair is 100% het for clown, I just noticed a few unusual markings on them and was not sure if it had anything to do with the het, or if I just had cool snakes .

I've heard a few people claim to be able to identify het clowns yet they've never posted a definitive description of what to look for other then 'I can tell it's a het'. Personally I think it's all smoke and sales talk.

Offspring tend to look like their parents, some visual traits will be passed on along with the mutation, but not always. Just because a number of snakes in the litter 'look like dad' doesn't make it a marker.
