BP won't leave branch

I apologize in advance if this is somewhere in the forums already. I googled my problem and I could not find anything.

I just purchased my first BP. He is 1 month old. He has been fed by the breeders before. I just got him today and as soon as I put him in his glass tank, he climbed up on the grape tree branch and will not get down. He has been up there all day. He has a big enough hide and the temperature is about 90 degrees (Fahrenheit).

im just concerned that he will not be properly warned sitting on the branch.
Do I just leave him and wait until he acclimated to his new surroundings? Should I try to move him? Should I remove the branch?

Again, I apologize if this has been asked before.

If you don't want him to climb, remove the branch he doesn't need it

He'll go wherever he's comfortable, and if he's too cold he'll go and find the hot spot of the tank

You said the temperature is about 90 degrees- is that the hot spot, or the whole tank? If it is the whole tank, he may be looking for someplace cooler. 90 is a good temp for a warm hide or got spot, but the rest should be 80ish.

It's also possible that he is just new and scared and found the first place where he didn't feel too exposed. It won't hurt him to sit on a branch of he wants to. If he gets too cold, he'll move. But it's nothing to worry about. Just leave him alone and let him settle in.
