Rarely comes out of her hide

I never see my girl come out of her hide, what would be the reasoning for this ?

As the saying goes, a hiding ball python is a happy ball python.

Yep, as the others have said, it's perfectly normal. Unless I'm feeding her or manually getting her out for handling, the most I generally see of my ball python is the front half of her head. That's about all she sticks out of her hides.

My little guy doesn't come out of his hide either... At least that's what I thought until I went into his room the other night and caught him wrapped around his tree hide staring at me haha. He kinda froze like the deer in the nationwide deer party commercial as I turned up his red heat light.
