First time feedings rats to my BP: easier than expected

Today I decided to switch my BP on rats, and it went better than expected. She wanted the rat so bad that she lunged from under her hide (not through the pre-made hole), and threw the hide to the other end of the cage. She never was like that for mice...

How old is your bp as mine is 8 month old and is coming to end of her bag of large mice so thinking of changing over myself.

I'm not completely sure on the exact age since I adopted her, but she was a 2015. She probably is around the 8 month mark.

Glad to hear it went good! My killerbee is on large mice. I'm about to make a large order here soon with big cheese and try to get her to switch to pups. She is an aggressive eater so hopefully she likes that rats just as much or more.
