    Not eating

Hey everyone, my female BP stopped eating 2 months ago and I'm getting worried, I present her food and she comes out and chases it around but will not strike, temps and humidity are all perfect, she's not losing weight, looks healthy but won't eat.
please help, should I take her in to the Vet or just be patient.
I don't know what to do.
    Thanks in advance.

How old is she? and was she feeding live or f/t? If she's an adult and has not been losing weight I wouldn't worry. Keep proper temps and humidity and continue to offer food weekly. If you get desperate try offering something else live.

I wouldn't worry just yet. I've had bp's go for 8-9 months without food then eventually they just started eating again.

If the temps and humidity are good then it is just a matter of waiting it out. Just offer food once a week on its normal feeding day - if he refuses, wait until the next week. I wouldn't keep offering day after day - that will stress it out.

    Re: Not eating

She is around 1 year old, thing is I weighed her today and she's lost 200 grams, now I'm worried.
She looks health and is very active at night.
Her temps and humidity are all good.
    What should I do ?

    How big is she?

What exactly are the temps and humidity? How many hides does she have? How big are they?

Her temps are in her hide on the warm side 90 degrees the rest of her tank is 78 degrees and humidity is 60 , she then has a big water dish and a branch.
She is around 3.5 feet long 2.5 girth and her weight is 563 grams

She's a bit small to have lost that much weight :/. Anyway, try putting 2 hides in there---one on the warm side, one on the cool side. Take the branch out or get a smaller water dish if you need room. Make sure the hides are nice and tight---BPs like to feel the sides touch their body when they ball up. You can put crumpled paper towels in the hides to make them smaller if necessary. Then don't handle her, at all (except for necessities like cleaning up), until she's eaten at least 3 times. Offer food every week (if she doesn't eat you can try again after 4 days, but no more often than that! It stresses them). Try offering food at different times of day. If you feed pre-killed, leave it in the enclosure overnight---maybe she prefers a midnight snack. Try a mouse if she's normally on rats; a lot of BPs are tempted by mice.

How are you measuring temps and humidity? How sure are you that the termometer/hygrometer is accurate?

    Re: Not eating

For measuring my temps and humidity I have digital thermostat and hygrometer, as for accuracy, I use a temp gun and it reads the same as my thermostat.
As for another hide I have no problem putting another one in but my question is, if that is the issue wouldn't she have done this since the beginning.
