What is the best looking non morph snake?

I was just curious what snakes look best all natural. Some morphs look cool but I can't really justify the price. If they meant better temperament or health I'd be all over them but if its just color I'll just stick with a normal. Repticon will be in town in about a month and I'm trying to do a little research and avoid an impulse buy when I get there. I like boas but their adult size is a bit intimidating. I currently have one ball python and he is the sweetest thing ever.

If you can manage the care of a brazilian rainbow boa they are absolutely stunning. That's one species that I don't think a morph could make better

Gray Banded Kings or Sonoran Mountain Kings are pretty nice looking and non morphs.

I think BCI's are a great step after balls. They are larger but they are not so big that one person can't manage (yes there are genetic outliers) but it depends on what you want out of your pet. If you're looking for something beautiful that will actually enjoy coming out of its enclosure and for a decent price, boas are a great choice.

I agree. I was in the same boat a while back. Until about a year ago, I had only ever kept ball pythons. I wanted something different, but not huge or known for being aggressive. I picked up a BCI male (he was a morph, so paid quite a bit more). He is perfect. He shouldn't grow to be that large, per what I was told at the show, he was the runt of the litter. I love him. He's much more active than any ball python I've ever seen, he's never missed a meal, and he's growing rather slowly. He growing much slower than I thought he would. He's still nice and healthy though. I think he's close to the 3 foot mark, if he's not already there. If you work with a boa at a young age, you shouldn't have much problems when they get bigger. Hope I was of some assistance.

Subjective but it's hard to beat a nice normal corn snake as far as color intensity and contrast go - even got it going on with those checkered ventrals.
