Dividing a cage? (temporary)

Okay so I've made up my mind. No convincing me to get a tub or a PVC okay peeps? Okay good. I am going to get a 40 gallon tank an cover the top with plexiglass to keep in the humidity. But I'm getting a baby ball python so I want to block off part of the cage until he's bigger. But my problem is that I don't know temporary solutions to divide it. Let the ideas flow, people! thanks

another question:
1. Any hygrometer suggestions other then the acu-rite?

if this is something u really wanna do, just use another piece of the plexiglass u are using for the top to use as an interior wall. use hot glue or a similar adhesive/sealant to divide it off. good luck.

as for a hygrometer/thermometer? try this by Begrit. it's like $12 and has a 4.5 stars rating on Amazon. imma order me 1 or 2.

can I remove it later? Will it have any residue left once I remove it?

You should be able to use rubbing alcohol to get hot glue residue off.
