Smile Male Breeding Ball Pythons ..... HOW do I get them to eat after being

So I have male ball pythons that were being for a few months and they haven't been eating. I have stopped being them for about a month and they have not started reading yet.
Should I be worried, or just relax and wait for them to start eating on there own.
    Thanks

From all of my research this is rather common. They can go off feed during breeding and for a while afterwards. What you have to watch for is them losing too much weight. It has been stated many times that males will breed themselves to death and they should be closely monitored during this period. That being said i also have read that someone had a male bp that had not eaten in 18months and had shown no ill effect from it. It all comes down to if the BP is healthy. If they are then don't worry. Just my thoughts. Good luck!!

As far as getting them back eating...attempt to feed on feed day. Maybe skip a week or two between feed periods(as long as they are healty). Maybe they still have the scent from the female on them which is keeping them in breed mode. You can try a wipe down on them and a good cleaning of their tubs to see if that makes a difference.

Most of my males that stop eating will not resume until the last female ovulates. I haven't heard any tricks to get them back feeding

If you were being them, shouldn't their reading skills be up to par?

I had a snake that got a taste for existential philosophy and then I never could get him reading fiction anymore...
