    Two Ball Pythons? Banana/Vanilla Ghost

Hello! I currently have a two-year-old male ball python (vanilla ghost morph). If I were to get a banana ball python, could I keep it in the same tank? I have a 20 gallon long, but would get a larger one. What are the views on this? Also, does gender/age of the banana play a role?

    Thanks!!

You don't want to house the two together. Only should be together for breeding. Snakes do not need nor enjoy having company. Please keep them separate.

cohabitating is only done by people who want to cohabitate. There is zero advantage to it and cost more than two separate enclosures. On top of that it is highly recommended that you are very experienced in identifying normal and abnormal behavior and know how to respond accordingly. Normally this knowledge comes from keeping multiple animals separately anyways.

I would never recommend someone to cohabitate no matter what their experience level. Given your relatively new to the hobby, I would push you even more to keep them separately, it will make life easier on you and them.
