Question my ball python has been on the loose and i found him and he wont let me get him out..

my bp has been loose almost 2 weeks and i found him in a hole in wall under air conditioner , i tried to get him out but hes acting very aggressive and trying to bite me.. so i thought he was hungry so i tried to get him out by dangling a frozen mouse in front of hole but he just keepss trying to go for my hand and arm.. what do i need to do? Put the mouse down near the hole, if he grabs it while still; in the hole he may try and pull it in, plus you dont know whats in the wall so you dont want to try and pull him out if his tails wrapped around a wire or if theres a nail sticking out somewhere

depending on what you are willing to do to get him out make the hole bigger but be careful not to hurt him so you can get him (as stated above avoid all sharp objects) or take the bite and get him also you could put a heat pad under a box in front of the hole and see if he will go to the heat

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

If you can get hands on him, get him out of there. Let him bite he'll get over it. You take your eyes off him he'll be gone again.

thank you, im trying to get him to give me something to grab besides his head, and start of his neck.. i dont want him to get hurt.. even a mouse isnt making him come out further .. i did give him one mouse for an appetizer, bc he usually eat 4-5 large mice a week.. i just cant understand why hes being aggressive , hes very friendly (usually) and handled very often by me

I'm Not trying to be insulting. However I have to ask. You said you dangled a frozen mouse in front of him. Did you thaw it out and heat it? If you didn't do that. It may be a reason why he did not go for it.

I'm sure the op unthawed the mouse... I believe they said they left one there as an appetizer. It would have to be unthawed for him to eat it lol.

It looks like the area around the hole is drywall? Since there's already a hole there I would just enlarge it enough to get him out and then patch up the drywall later. Drywall repair isn't too difficult.
