    Pvc not helping humidity...

    Hi all,

I took the leap and got a 2x1x1 pvc with the best radiant heat panel, ordered from the USA... A whole other story there hha

Have a Uth and temps vary from hot spot at 90 and ambient heat of 85-77 on coldest side by door. The problem is I cannot keep humidity. I thought pvc was excellent for humidity?

I put moss in the terrarium over my wood chips and mist twice a day. By the evening things have totally dried out. Any advice?

Can you post some pics of the tub, Most of the time is a very simple thing that causes the problem.

With the pvc cages the most important thing for humidity is to limit the ventilation. block off some of the air ways, a few at a time and your humidity should steadily increase to the level you need it to be. you will not suffocate your snake so don't worry about that. Also what would help is putting your water bowl on the hot side to increase evaporation.
