Anyone use vision racks?
I was thinking about getting a v70 rack but am not sure how i feel about the heat cable. Does the heat cable work good compared to heat tape?

Re: Anyone use vision racks?
I've used heat cable on several racks for years with great success. I also have a few vision racks and they have worked decent. Are they the absolute best option? Depends really on other factors, including what species you want to keep, average room temperature, humidity etc.

Whats your favorite cb70 rack for breeding ball pythons?

I did and hated every minute of it whether it is the V35 or V70
First heat cable produce very unshaven heat producing a wider fluctuation.
Second they are very wobbly, I like my racks to be sturdy and not wobble every time I touch them.
The only pro for me was the way that they can ship easily and for a low cost and be assembled easily.
My favorite racks in order are C-Serpents (I live on the east cost and pick up my racks directly at shows saving on shipping), and Animal Plastics (enclosed for the 41 quarts or V70 as the economy ones are wobbly as well)

Re: Anyone use vision racks?
I have three Vision racks (2 10 level hatchling racks - one with V15s, one with V18s), and a 7 level V35. I love these racks. The are sturdy, and easy to move. The heat tape is a pain in the ass, but I simply have wrapped the rack in 1" insulation board and that holds the heat great. My racks sit at 86oF constant at the hot end, and 80oF at the cool end. If I was not getting two Freedom Breeder 30 tub V70s in trade, I would be buying some V70s from Vision. I plan to pick up another V35 7 level this season. Great racks, great price, well. just great.
Oh, I use Reptichip in mine and mist it daily or every two days to keep the humidity as I like it.
