Talking First clutch ever is here!!

I checked on my girl before I left for work at noon and she was quietly coiled up, still 4 days from her due date. I got back at 7 and she had already laid 9 eggs that I can see, with at least 1 or 2 left to go. No slugs so far! I'm freaking out, step-kids are freaking out, even my snake-loathing boyfriend admitted he's excited, lol. Pairing was a butter spinner to a pastel.

I'll leave her completely alone until before bed and hopefully she's done then so I can get everyone sorted. Incubator is ready at waiting at 88-89 degrees.

Congratulations! Now the temptation will be to open the incubator every day (maybe every hour) to check on them. Good luck with being patient and look forward to seeing some pictures of the hatchlings!

Final count: 12 eggs, no slugs, all appear to have veins! Mama is all bathed up and in her freshly washed tub. So excited and so worried about all the things that could go wrong Wish these babies luck!

Congrats! Beautiful big clutch Possible you'll count your hair twice until they hatch but it worth the waiting.
