Found female i have been pairing soaking in her water dish tonight .. thoughts/input?

I have been pairing this girl since November, she has been bowl wrapping for about the last two to three months. She went off feed 3 weeks ago, In the past week I have caught her lying on her side several times and then tonight I found her in her dish. There is no mite issue and husbandry is good (80℉ cool end and 91℉ warm end) is this possibly just another good sign that she may finally be getting ready to ovulate?? Has anyone else had females soak prior to an ovy? I've been waiting for this girl to go for what seems like forever now as its my most anticipated pairing this season!! .... Last year a couple of my girls soaked before the shed that turned out to be pre-ovy. I thought the same thing that there was no other reason for them to be doing so and neither of the girls have ever done it before. One of them lived in the bowl for about a week. I would take it as a very good sign. Best of luck.

Thanks rlditmars, ofcourse my initial reaction was " OH CRAP!!"... but then I checked her tub over and examined her in the bowl and was relieved that my first suspicion was invalid ... then I started thinking about how towards ovy they are uncomfortable and miserable, so I thought "hey, this is possibly the only time that I will be excited to see one of collection hanging out in their water dish " LOL

They can soak prior to ovy or even pre-lay shed, but also to cool down as they are building up (sometimes bowl wrap is just not cool enough)

Thanks Deborah, over the past month I have seen her swell up considerably in girth but not yet an ovulation, it has been at least 2 months since her last shed, so hopefully this is the icing on the cake so to speak ... (I've been bad about keeping track of sheds, it is something I've recently started including in my records)
