    Hello from South Florida!

So I got originally got my bp in Michigan where I was going to college, and the only pet I could have was something that could fit in a 10 gal tank. I've always been a dog person, however my reptile fanatic friend eventually talked me into getting a baby ball python: "They are super low maintenance, can live in small spaces, and are nocturnal like you "

I couldn't imagine that snakes could be so cute/docile before... but I'm so glad I gave them a chance! BPs not pooping often/smelling is also a plus - I almost never want a mammal again LOL

Anyway I've been lurking here for a while (lots of great info) and finally decided to join in.

    Welcome to the forum VM.

Low maintenance is great per se, but keep an eye on your temperatures and humidity daily. It seems that when you let your guard down things get out of whack.

Yeah, few messes are great, but they always seem to happen when I'm in a hurry, bogged down, really tired, or many snakes do it the same day. But can't really complain, all things considered.

Glad you joined, and looking forward to pictures of your BP.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
