So I got originally got my bp in Michigan where I was going to college, and the only pet I could have was something that could fit in a 10 gal tank. I've always been a dog person, however my reptile fanatic friend eventually talked me into getting a baby ball python: "They are super low maintenance, can live in small spaces, and are nocturnal like you"
I couldn't imagine that snakes could be so cute/docile before... but I'm so glad I gave them a chance! BPs not pooping often/smelling is also a plus - I almost never want a mammal again LOL
Anyway I've been lurking here for a while (lots of great info) and finally decided to join in.
