    Preferred AP for carpet?

I need your input on the preferred AP for a coastal complete with optional AP accessories.

For an adult Coastal I'd go with an AP T12 (4x2x2) or an A20 (4x2x3). I've decided to put mine in A20s when they get older. I like the sliding glass doors on the T12 but I like the extra vertical space with the A20. I'll have AP install the red led strips and will have Reptile Basics ship the 120w RHPs for AP to install as well. Hopefully I can use the RHPs exclusively and won't need a UTH.

So if I go with the T12 I could house shag in it pretty soon using a
    the divider, right?

Sure thing T. I've got my coastal and my jungle in a divided T8 now so a divided T12 would be great for Shag. Will you put one of your corns on the other side?

I could but it will be a while cause at 17g they get lost in the 10 gallon tank they are in right now. So if I put a snake in each side exactly what do I need as far as RHPs? Do I need any of the screen cut outs? What is the flex watt belly heat, just heat tape on the underside? And I would think the door locks are a must.

If you're only housing one snake in it you can put the RHP on one side. You can't center the RHP with the divider. I don't think you'll need the screen cut outs. I only have them because I use IR heat bulbs to boost my ambient temps on both sides of the divider. I didn't wan't to order 2 RHPs when I first got my T8s (kinda wish I had now). The RHP should be ok as an exclusive heat source. You can add heat tape or a UTH in the winter if you feel the need but I doubt you'll need it. I've never used heat tape but that's what the flex watt belly heat is.
