    House/Apartment Hunting

Hello everyone. So I'm getting married in May and I'm looking around for a place to rent in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. My question is if anyone is from the area do you know of any reptile friendly apartment complexes or reptile friendly people looking for renters? Just hoping someone can help me narrow down my search. Thanks!

    Re: House/Apartment Hunting

I'm not from the area but I can offer some general advice, how many reptiles do you have? Are you going to be moving in a 50 tub rack system or do you have a few terrariums? It is generally easier and better for that matter that no one needs to know what you have. It's not that there aren't landlords that would be okay with a few bearded dragons and a snake .... But there is even a larger amount that when asked or brought to their attention about reptiles ... They are uneducated and have misconceptions and have only heard bad things. That being said ... It is no ones business what you have in your house or apartment unless it is distinctly specified in your lease agreement. Not to mention if you live in a muti unit building, generally someone will have something negative to say due to the fact that all the units are connected. Good luck to you on your search and congratulations on the engagement

Buy a house then you can do what you want, no need to throw your money away and pay someone else's mortgage when you can put that money towards owning your own house.
