This is concerning my ball python Chai. I only noticed this after his recent shed, but could this be some sort of scale rot? I keep him on paper towels and change the paper towels frequently as well as clean the whole cage weekly. The bin I keep him in is also ventilated. If this is scale rot, how can I go about treating it? Is there an over the counter topic antibiotic I can get to help him immediately? I'm very concerned.
