I am SO sorry!
Noticed the corn's humid hide wasn't so humid any more...
Got busy with spraying, changing water bowls, waste check etc. for all the tanks.
Took out the humid hide for the third enclosure (kingsnake), which was too dry too. Spray bottle was not spraying well, so just poured some water in it...a little black head popped up with a tongue flick.
Dang! How totally stupid and I be?

Oops! Nothing like cold bucket of water thrown on you while you're sleeping all warm and cozy under the the blankie.
Things can't always go perfect.

Reason: can't type!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Re: I am SO sorry!
20% / 25% Ambient humidity is usually fine for most colubrids, I have never mist or use a humid hide for Kings, Milks or Hogs.
Make sure your humidity is not too high or you could run into some issues.

Thanks, Deborah.
I put the humid hides in because I really didn't trust the hygros go give accurate readings. I figure that way, the snakes can pick and choose - it has made for better sheds in the kingsnakes. (Corn snake was shipped from a breeder in FL, and I expect enjoyed higher humidity than what he gets here in the high altitude desert in NM.)
The humid hides are small and clear plastic. I could have just looked, which is why I chose clear in the first place. Kingsnake is currently on the bottom - it is pretty wet in there, but he can exit out the open top any time he chooses.
