    Moving day

Well we got everything loaded up, drove over to the new house and opened the door to be smacked in the face with the smell of gas. Called the gas company, they are responding "immediately". We had to leave the location. 2 hours later, mid winter, I currently have a truck full of 14 snakes and 50 ish rats. I'm having a lovely day. Lol How about everyone else?

Well.... that sucks!! At least you can leave them in the car with the heat on to keep them warm. Hopefully the day gets better!!

I guess it's better than it happening while you were in there. Hope it's sorted out quickly.

Well they should get to it pretty quick, a gas leak is pretty serious business and the utility companies treat it as such. When I had one that developed in mid winter at the street connection to my house, I could smell gas coming from a pile of snow at the end of my driveway. Within 40min of the call, they had a tech there, and once he confirmed it they had a full crew there 20 minutes later with a backhoe digging up the lines. I probably got lucky and caught them not busy, but still.
    Anyway, good luck with everything.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
