    Who's pysched about springtime?

I know I am.......all of my BPs feeding responses have kicked back in and the winter fasting/picky eating appears to be OVER!

I've got one female who was a jan '04 hatchling, and currently weights about 1300 grams. The male is about 6 months old and about 500 grams give or take. Hopefully at this time next year, they should be ready to hook up.

I'm pretty psyched about it, and ready to start seeing them grow up even more this year!

    Re: Who's pysched about springtime?

I am thrilled about the sunshine, warm weather, and the fact that Issa is probably ready to eat 2 adult mice in one sitting, which means I can get "him" on to rats soon. Then I'll have 3 out of 4 of my snakes on rats, and as soon as Ko Kame is big enough to take rat pups, I'll switch her over. If the weather is good for the next swap, I"ll take Issa along and get "him" probed.

The thing I am not thrilled about is the slightly flucating temperatures, which provents me from leaving some windows open in the house. Hooray for thermostats.

Here in Alaska, they're still predicting snow, but we're on our way to warmer days. Today is above freezing and most of the snow, in my south facing yard, is gone. It's also gone from the main roads. My neighbors who face north are not so lucky.

ME!!! Now I can walk to the train station from school, no more depressing subway!!! And I can finally touch up all the lovely rust spots along the underside of my car doors, keep my white walls nice and clean, and drive around with the windows down

    Re: Who's pysched about springtime?

I'm psyched about spring and summer. Mostly for the warmer weather(although it gets too hot in summer, so I get whiney. ). I look forward to taking walks with Pelota so we can enjoy the fresh air and scenery. And not having to worry about the temperatures in my cage getting too cold(don't have to worry much now that I have a thermostat and stuff though). But mostly I'm excited about looking for a sexy male bp for Pelota to have in the future.
