How to get a ball out of a tight spot

Ok here is my situation. I either have one smart ball or two escapes back to back. I built the rack off of arbreptile. In the morning i go in a check on everybody once i get home from work. So i go to look for Link(Mr. Escapee) and he isnt there. i was like great the room is only so big and he couldnt have gone far. Well he didnt he was about 2 racks down inbetween the plywood and pegboard(pic attached). I tried to get him out but he wouldnt budge. So i tell my wife if she hears anything after i go to work to go get link and put him back in the cage. So that night she hears him and put him back.

Now he did it again but one rack up and has not moved from there for about 3 days now. What would be the best/easiest way to get him out?

well ... if you built your rack exactly the same why dont you remove the 4 screws that are holding the plywood on?

I thought about doing that but my electric drill wouldnt fit inbetween the racks.

If he isnt out by tonight i will just have to remove the screws by hand. I dont want to because i but about 8 screws in it. He gets out by moving the tub forward somehow so i have to either add more weight inside the inclosure or add some kind of latch to it.

Get a ventilated kind of kritter keeper sort of thing and put a mouse or rat in there nearby - I've lured my share out of tight spots including when Sesha managed to wedge herself tightly between the bartop and the closed supports. Might well be worth a shot if you've got any of those ingredients around - far from an instant gratification sort of solution though - I waited a good 30 minutes.

    Best of luck there.
