    scale rot help!

    Hi there, im concerned that my ball python jake might have gotten scale/belly rot. Thats why i would like some help to see if it is or not.     Well, it's hard to tell from the isolated pics in your gallery. Sorry to hear about the dilemma. Why don't you tell us a little bit about your snakes enclosure and the temps , ambient and hot and cool side. What is the humidity percentage and the substrate type you are using. The condition of the scales are a little suspicious but we do need more of the underbelly to view it closely.

    My snakes fine he finished his shedding, and his scales are as white as snow and pure as drinking water. my internet has bin bad so i couldent log in but, every thing turned out great and his shed was in one whole piece

    From what I see in the pictures, it happens from time to time if things get too moist and/or hot I believe. Sheds fix it. I also haven't seen that on younger snakes, but my friend's 6yr old gets it often enough. I'm not sure how well she cares for it though, she's got just the one, and I've got four all under 2 years old.
