He ate!! He ate!!!
My BP has not eaten since September 7th and tonight he ate!!! I didn't think he would and I didn't even thaw him a mouse. My Mexican Black Kingsnake wasn't interested in his mouse as he's shedding so before I gave it to my Kenyan Sand Boa I figured what the heck - let's try the BP. It was a smaller mouse than he was eating before and I didn't even have it as hot as he usually requires (he usually will not take FT unless it's 108 degrees or more).
Just had to share this with others who I knew would understand my excitement.
Party time!

Re: He ate!! He ate!!!
That is awesome to hear Tiger! Hissy was on a long fast and she finally ate for me a while ago. She then ate for three strait weeks, took two weeks off & then ate again last week. I think that the weather (we have weather by cybil out here lately) is wreakin havoc on her appetite. Hopefully this newest warm cycle will hold up as the summer months begin to approach! My point is though, don't be surprised if he skips a week or two! Congrats!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

Yeah, I'm thinking of waiting a couple of weeks before trying again. I think our weather may be getting screwy soon as well. I'm just so happy he ate!
