I know about the rule of thumb, but i would like to know if my 26 inch bp could start eating small rats because the mice dont really make a bump any more?

Good luck ! i hope he takes it for ya.For the first try, try not to scent it with a mouse, just see if he'll take it just like it is, worked for me

As you can see Roxy is pretty thick, so she can handle the small rats just fine im sure yours will too.

Pelota is 6 months old, 24 inches long, 5 inches around in girth, and took her first small rat last friday. She was on weaned rats for 3-4 weeks but they never really kept a lump in her belly, and she was taking them down like she was slurping spaghetti.
Oh, and she was last weighed in at 320 grams. But that was before she laid that big bowel movement she was saving up for 3-4 weeks, so she might just be at an even 300 now, lol.
