Yesterday, I fed my boy Leroy an adult f/t mouse. Today, he made a massive mess in his cage. I tried to spot clean the poop without disturbing him, but he came out of his hide and crawled up my arm. At this point, I noticed a brown raised scale 4 bowties from his head. I used some warm water and a Q-tip to gently wipe it away. There was a mouse claw embedded in his skin. When I pulled the sliver of claw out with tweezers, Leroy made a strange twitching movement, About four inches of him quivered and moved erratically, then he calmed down and chilled with me. I put a little neosporin on the wound. He seems fine, but leave it to my snake to get injured on a f/t mouse.
