    My BP and lighting

Hey everyone, lets start with Merry Christmas to all.
I am wondering, my tank set up is perfect in heat, moisture, and ambient temp, thing is I have a red light for UV ray's, I need to know do BP's need UV light ?
Do I need this turned on at some point in the day ?
Right now I have no lighting on my set up, the reason being is when I put lights on my temps and humidity go out of preferred range.
Thank's everyone and have a safe and wonderful holidays.

BPs don't have specific lighting requirements like many other reptiles do. The ambient lighting of the room will be just fine.

I use moss in a cup to keep the humidity up on my tank. The moss is pretty close to the light and there is plenty of water on the cup

Bps don't need uv light or any specific lighting. As long as your temps are correct without the light I think you're okay without it. Lights will definitely make keeping the humidity up to par very difficult.
