Mouth watering or regurge after drinking?

tonight when I went to get my 300 gram or so female out to eat she had a droplet of water on her mouth. After getting her out of her cage and holding her for a second, water begin to drip out of her mouth. I think all together it was about a teaspoon or so. It also came out of her nose. I didn't see if she drank before I got her out so it could be maybe I interupted her swallowing maybe? She just shed, and has been acting fine.

Anyone else seen this before? Thoughts?

If it has the consistency of water then that is probably all it is - it's not uncommon for them if they are handled just after drinking.

If it is thick or bubbly like mucus then we might need to look closer.

It was water consistency. Dripped like water would, not slimey or what I would think mucus would look like. Just startled me.

Mouth watering or regurge after drinking?

The first day I rescued my dehydrated Boa, Elenore I picked her up to show my daughter. Not thinking about how the water level in her 1 quart bowl had dramatically dropped, she regurged water on the wood floor. It looked like a half of a glass of water was spilled.

I felt real bad for Elenore and dumb for picking her up.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
