    How do you get hats on them if they don't like their heads being touched? I'm super new sorry if it's a dumb question, but my gf can't wait to do this to our new girl.

    Some snakes are not head shy! As hatchlings/neonates when I get them I gently pet their heads so they get used to it, and now they just don't care if I touch their heads Instead of chasing them around with a hat though, I hold the hat above right where they are going, and when they reach that point I just gently lower it down onto their head That way it doesn't freak them out.
