Maytag in the Niche
Hello! So I'm pretty new to the forums, and figured I'd make my first modus operandi to share my little ball python. He's (not actually sexed but relatively, I refer to the snake as a he) a little normal ball python that I got on Aug. 28th, at the breeder's expo down in Daytona Beach. I'm somewhat new to keeping reptiles in general, although I have had snakes in the past, I am very much a novice. I had prior ownership of both a ball python and a cornsnake, both of which I had to rehome due to having to move in with my grandmother who wasn't entirely fond of snakes. As a cause of her having to move in with my great-grandmother due to health reasons, I've been able to renew my interest in snakes. So, without further ado, my new baby ball, Maytag.
The first day I had him:

Sometime in October (By this time he had shed for me once. In fact, I think this was a day or two after all the shed had come off.)

And the most recent pictures:

And finally, for some size comparison:
The first day > Middle of October > Two days ago

My apologies for the quality of the pictures. I personally think he's a pretty little snake, and I really enjoy his personality. Compared to the first snakes I had, he is incredibly inquisitive and active which makes me pretty happy.

Right now the only photo showing up at all is Maytag 4. Just thought I'd tell you.

Welcome to the forum Futile. Glad you are back in the game.
Hope you get your pictures resolved, we would love to see Maytag.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010
Etta, 2013
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
Esmarelda , 2014
Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017
Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

Aaaactually. I didn't. xD Uhm, there is this webcomic running around somewhere in the vast realm of the internet known as Flipside. One of the main characters in the comic is a jester girl by the name of Maytag. She's a favorite of mine, and when I got Maytag (the snake) Maytag was going through some hardships in the comic, so I figured I'd give her some fictional support and name the ball python after her.

You aren't copying and pasting the direct link, but rather the IMG link. However, by the time I realized things needed to be fixed, I had to go for the night, so I'm here fixing it now.

For future reference, is there a way to edit posts? I can't seem to find a button. I'll get on posting the pictures now though.
Edit: Found the edit button. So, you just can't edit original posts then?

Reason: to demonstrate the 10 minute rule. ;)
