It's always nice when they're eating well. Hopefully she'll figure out the go down a little easier head first. Silly little girl.

*facepalm* Gorgeous pic of your baby eating her food....but it always baffles me when they don't realize that head first is easier.

Gotta love a good eating. Makes you feel satisfied that your BP is content and living their life as they should.

My new BEL girl (my first adult size BP) gobbled down a small rat for me the first night I brought her home and all I could think was that the rat seemed too small for her. Sure enough 3 days later I was feeding another snake and there she is peering out the front of her tub staring right at me and the rat. So she got another small rat and ate it like she hadn't eaten for months. I guess she needs medium rats. So happy to see her fitting in so nicely!

    Re: Athena and her hopper

yeah she tried swallowing the mouse butt first and got stuck on the legs, and spit it out. so i left her alone for a little and came back to her almost having it down. but yes, shell learn soon. gonna try to have her learn when its feeding time as well by knocking on her tank before introducing the mouse. Hopefully shell pick up on that!
