So I I picked up a proven mojave female back at the San Diego Super Show and I threw my lesser male in just to see if she would breed and sure enough she did. I have 3 confirmed locks on 8/14, 8/23, and sometime in the beginning of December but I the. Traded off my lesser male. I didn't think much of it and was pretty sure she wasn't going to go but now she has me stumped. I found her cool seeking throughout October and took her last meal OCT.20. Now she refuses and she shed back on 11/4. But if this was the case would that mean she ate, ovulated then shed 2 weeks later? Isn't that kind of fast? I've heard of females eating throughout their entire time being gravid but it is rare. She also looks substantially thicker but then when I lift her I see no build on her abdominal area. She is 2100g though. She is heat seeking as well and cratered out an area on the hotspot. So from the sounds of it do you think she may be gravid?
This was back on sept.23
This was her bowl wrapping on Oct.1
This is her Nov.4 after she had shed
This is her today Nov.24. And I switched her to Orchid bark to keep up humidity.
Any input would be great. Also another note I did not witness an ovulation but I am not always home and when I am I just spot clean and make sure they have water and go to bed and Sunday's I really spend time looking them over.
