Some quick pics of recent additions...

Hi, my name is Meg and I'm a BP addict.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to break out the light tent, so I hope you guys can forgive the cell phone pictures.

    In order of acquisition:

0.1 Enchi Firefly, from Steve of S & L Reptiles. I've actually been holding out on you guys; she joined the ranks back in either September or October. She's about 500-600g and still nice and bright. There are so many different directions I want to go with her! Desert ghost, pied, clown, hypo...

0.1 Pied I picked up at the Oaks expo last weekend. I was toying with the idea of getting a female pied with some size, but when I saw this hatchling I had to have her. I just love how glitched out her pattern looks. It'll really test my patience waiting for her to grow!

    Last but not least,
1.0 Superfly from an awesome local breeder named John. This was a total impulse purchase; I was selling a rack on Craigslist earlier this week and John was interested. We got to talking about our collections and long story short I ended up trading the rack for this guy and paying the difference. He's a proven breeder, and I'm hoping to pair him with my fire female this spring.

I was going to say that I'm done for now, but with Hamburg right around the corner... and a new 32qt rack to fill... well, let's not be hasty and say anything we might regret.

Nice ! I'm really hoping I produce my own enchi firefly combos next year. That pied's color is ridiculous!

I'm a little bummed you have a light box yet failed to break it out. I demand a follow-up post .

I'm bummed about the light tent too! There will definitely be a follow up post coming soon. I'll be rooting for you to hit on some enchi fireflies!

Thanks! I only ever saw a post about a gold dust/digital/pixel pied on Fauna a while ago. Sounds like it may be genetic but as far as I've seen there isn't much documented about the (possible) gene. I'm hopeful that she is one of them, and I'll probably reach out to the person in the other post to see if they've made any progress with theirs.

I love that pied... so special! I would've bought her too! How much did you buy her for?

Nice snakes. I almost picked up an Enchi Firefly myself. That Pied is really cool. Look to seeing them grow.
