Is this is a snail or a snake? Hmm...
(weird flash pictures, but I had to use flash in this low light)
A SNAIL, obviously.
And here's the little pastry actually in shed, so his scales and colors are patchy.
And... a little nose.
Oh yeah... and my little girl!
Cake is at around 430g in the middle of the week. He was born beginning of June. I haven't weighed Yukon lately, but he's also grown much bigger than the worm when I first got him. =) Still has funky neurological issues from the breeder, but I accepted it as his unique quirk.
It's weird to think that only 7 months ago (such a relatively short amount of time, my god), I knew next to nothing about ball pythons or snake care as a whole- this was before I got Cake. I only knew the basic basics of required equipment and what to expect. The minute Cake arrived home, and in the past 7 months of my obsessive forum stalking, daily discussions here and other forums and in various facebook groups, reading discussions and articles and googling questions from old threads, opinions across the spectrum from experienced keepers across the spectrum over various issues and forming my own conclusions, and of course learning with my own three... I trust my knowledge so much more on the majority of snake care as a whole (though mostly ball pythons) and dealing with almost anything. This forum in particular was one of the major sources.
I don't always comment, but I'm always reading. And always stalking. Ohohoho.
