Re: When you send the clueless on reptile errands...
Haha I couldn't imagine what would happen if I had to ask my husband to help with the snakes. My squadron had to leave for a training mission around the time my first clutch was supposed to be laid so I instructed him on how to pull the eggs. He got lucky that she held em in until I got back because I'm pretty sure he would have had a heart attack pulling that hissing girl out

When you send the clueless on reptile errands...
If you continue to enlist the help of the uneducated, you may try writing on the rodent bags who they are for as well as what they are.
This will ensure far less frustration for him as well as you.
You shouldn't have to do this for many times, for visual learning speeds up the process for most folks.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
1.2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
Mack The Knife, 2013
Lizzy, 2010
Etta, 2013
1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons
Esmarelda , 2014
Sundance, 2012
2.0 Common BI Boas, Punch, 2005; Butch, age?
0.1 Normal Ball Python, Elvira, 2001
0.1 Olive (Aussie) Python, Olivia, 2017
Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

I use color coding !! Plus I write the contents and the date to be fed on it, so my petsitter knows who gets what on what days.

I have so many rats in the freezer right now I'd probably be better off writing what they are as opposed to who they're for lol. But I gave such specific instructions! Lol "Can you thaw two of the small fuzzy rats. Should have black and whites in the bag." And he pulls out not two, but four white medium sized rats. There's only one bag with black and whites. He blamed it on being half asleep lol.
A chart is a good idea also. I have one of those dry erase boards I could use to write when I need to thaw, I always forget lol.
